What Makes a Jackson County Job Different

Steep ground. Outside the river bottoms, nearly every driveway climbs. Routes, grades, and switchbacks have to work for the vehicles that use them, in winter as well as summer.

Creeks and coves. Many properties sit along a creek or at the head of a cove, where water comes off the mountain in a hurry. Culverts, ditches, and stream crossings have to be sized and placed for that, and land disturbance near streams is regulated.
